# Requests

### **1. I approved the request but don’t see the delivery**

* Ensure you are viewing the **Pending Deliveries** accordion inside the **Deliveries** tab.
* Try searching by **Site Name**, **Reference**, or **Delivery Code**.
* If your role does not have permission for Deliveries, you will not see it.\
  Contact your admin to add: **Manage Deliveries** permission.

***

### **2. The system says quantities exceed available stock**

This warning comes directly from real-time inventory.

Options:

* Reduce the request quantity
* Issue partial stock
* Backorder remaining stock
* Send an immediate transfer from another yard if permissions allow

***

### **3. I cannot see the Approve or Void buttons**

This means you only have request viewing rights.

You must be granted:

* **Approve Requests**

Your Admin can update permissions in Roles & Permissions.

***

### **4. Request was approved by mistake – can it be undone?**

Once approved, the record becomes a Pending Delivery.

To reverse it:

* Open the Pending Delivery
* Void the delivery. This moves the request into Voided Deliveries and prevents dispatch.

***

## **5. I approved a request but quantities are wrong**

No problem. Edit the Pending Delivery:

* Add or remove items
* Change quantities
* Change dates
* Add driver or documents

The request only becomes locked once it is delivered and signed for.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.cloudscaff.com/troubleshooting/requests.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
