Quick solutions for common request issues, including missing deliveries, no approve button, low stock, incorrect quantities, and permission errors.
1. I approved the request but don’t see the delivery
Ensure you are viewing the Pending Deliveries accordion inside the Deliveries tab.
Try searching by Site Name, Reference, or Delivery Code.
If your role does not have permission for Deliveries, you will not see it. Contact your admin to add: Manage Deliveries permission.
2. The system says quantities exceed available stock
This warning comes directly from real-time inventory.
Options:
Reduce the request quantity
Issue partial stock
Backorder remaining stock
Send an immediate transfer from another yard if permissions allow
3. I cannot see the Approve or Void buttons
This means you only have request viewing rights.
You must be granted:
Approve Requests
Your Admin can update permissions in Roles & Permissions.
4. Request was approved by mistake – can it be undone?
Once approved, the record becomes a Pending Delivery.
To reverse it:
Open the Pending Delivery
Void the delivery. This moves the request into Voided Deliveries and prevents dispatch.
5. I approved a request but quantities are wrong
No problem. Edit the Pending Delivery:
Add or remove items
Change quantities
Change dates
Add driver or documents
The request only becomes locked once it is delivered and signed for.
