### **Inspection Certificate Template**

Design and customize your **Inspection Certificate** to align with your company’s inspection standards.\
This certificate can be used during **daily, weekly, or ad-hoc scaffold inspections** to verify that structures are safe for use.

Inspection certificate templates help standardize your company’s safety documentation and ensure all inspections are traceable, compliant, and formatted according to your internal specifications.

### **Handover Template**

Customize your **Handover Certificate**, which is issued once a scaffold is **erected and ready for use**.\
This document formally certifies that the scaffold meets your company’s compliance and safety requirements.

You can include sign-off sections for supervisors, safety officers, and clients, along with job or site details.

Handover certificate templates help standardize your company’s safety documentation and ensure all handovers are traceable, compliant, and formatted according to your internal specifications.

### **Scaffold Types**

Add and manage all the **scaffold types** your company uses in the system.

These types are used to:

* Standardize how scaffolds are recorded across jobs and reports.
* Enable reporting by scaffold type.
* Improve classification and analytics for large or multi-site operations.

{% endhint %}

### **Site Categories**

Use **Site Categories** to classify the **type or nature of each site** within your company.\
Examples:

* *Industrial Site*
* *Maintenance Site*
* *Residential Project*

These categories are used for **data segmentation** and **reporting**, allowing you to filter or analyze performance, material movement, or safety data specific to certain industries or project types.

{% hint style="info" %}

{% endhint %}

### **Site Groups**

Create **Site Groups** to organize or tag related sites for easier management and reporting.

Groups can represent:

* **Cities**
* **Districts**
* **Regions**
* **States or Provinces**
* **Operational Process**

Grouping sites enables you to:

* Run consolidated reports per region or process.
* Compare productivity or material usage across groups.
* Simplify data management across multiple branches or territories.

> **Tip:** Defining **templates**, **types**, **categories**, and **groups** early ensures that your Cloudscaff data remains structured, searchable, and analytics-ready — helping your business maintain compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.cloudscaff.com/settings/templates.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
